Look of the week: Elegant updo

Materials:

  • 1" barrel curling iron

  • Volumizing hair spray(recommended Big Sexy Hair)

  • Bobby pins

Step 1: Place large Velcro rollers on the top front portion of your head. Secure them with either bobby pins or roller clips. Roll your hair back, bangs and all.

Step 2: Starting at the crown, curl medium sections of hair.
Step 3: Pin curled sections as you go. Wrap curls around your finger working your way up to the scalp. Once you reach the scalp pin curls down packing them tightly together.

(Note:make shure that you pick bobby pins that match the color of your hair best)

Step 4: When you have secured all of the hair in the back take out the rollers and curl those sections to.

Step 5: Pull the hair in the front straight and smooth in the front.

Step 6: Spray your whole head with volumizing hair spray to set your hair.

(Note: be sure to give your head a good shake to make shure everything is secure, you can always fix it if something comes loose.)

Mary Kay TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser:

  • Comes in: Oily, Combination and Dry

  • Price: $18

  • I rank this product:8

I really like this cleanser! Just because its an age fighting cleanser dosent mean younger girls cant use it(17 and up). I have really sensitive skin so I cant use harsh exfoliaters. TimeWise has a very small amount of exfoliaters just right for my skin type.

Purpose Facial Cleanser:

  • Soap free

  • Hypoallergenic

  • Won't clog pores

  • Dermatologists Recommended

  • I rank this product:9

I love this cleanser! I especially recommend Purpose for those who are on topical acne treatments. Topical acne creams cause the skin to dry up and become red. It really burns!!! Soap based cleansers really make life miserable, but because Purpose dosnet have a soap base it never burns or causes drying of you skin!

Mary Kay Oil Mattifier:

  • Lasts 8 hours

  • Can be reapplied over makeup

  • costs:$15

  • I rank this product:8

I have extremely oily skin! I have tried alot of oil mattifiers, but this one I swear by! It keeps the shine of your face, but dosent overdry, and when I have a really bad oil day I can easily reapply over my makeup!

Mary Kay Acne Treatment Gel:

  • cost:$7

  • I rank this product: 5

Nothing ever happens over night! I really like this acne gel, but you have to be patient for it to work. Sometimes it take about a week to start clearing up the acne. Its perfect for the week before prom or senior pics to get rid of that one spot on your face that just popped up the night before!!

Mary Kay Oil Control Lotion:

  • Fragrance free

  • cost:$18

  • I rank this product: 10

Like I said before, my skin is really oily so I need something that keeps the shine off all day! Mary Kay oil control lotion works like the charm it is! This lotion not only keeps off the oil, but hydrates your skin to keep a healthy PH balance. Its perfect for keeping your skin soft and I swear it even evens out my skin tone before I apply my makeup!
